I received my spin-on oil filter adapter and installed it Saturday. Took my time and made sure that there were no old squared-off O-ring bits left in the seat. The headline says it all. My car is a 1946 TC. I removed the oil pump and checked it out, all seems OK. The pressure/bypass valves are clean, no visible wear or broken gear teeth. I lapped the cap/body faces before rebuilding.
