  • More leg room 1954 MGTF

I purchased my 1954 MGTF in 1975 and used it to commute to Rutgers University. I am now 56 years old 6'4'' and the car has shrunk since college days. I remember reading articles about doing something with the break and clutch pedals to gain a bit more room. Any specific help will be appreciated. I guess I used to tolerate pain better back in the ...

  • Re: Fiberglass Top for a TD

Terry, I hope that someone has info on fiberglass top / sid curtains for a TD because I have a 51 and the top is bad and no side curtains. I was thinking of making  some kind of side curtains out of fiberglass but I would need some kind of a pattern and I don't even have frames. I was also going to make a fiberglass top using ...

  • Greetings

Ran across this site when reading the Moss spamvertising. Been 'into" cars almost my whole life, having received my first car when I was three years old. Owned my MG TD since 1971. Dozens of various other cool cars as well.

  • Identify top & side curtains

I recently purchased several boxes of MG parts and I need help identifying some of them.  1)  A new convertible top, black vinyl, with no identifiable markings; however I believe it is for a TF or possibly a TD according to the seller.  It is in a box with a Vilelm B. Haan, Inc. label, part ...

  • MG TA Colours

Hi, I have just got a 1937 MG TA c/No. TA/1068.  The Engine is bright red at the moment and I was wondering if that is correct(Moss parts list says green, but I've never seen a green one). And what colour should the brake drums be?

  • To change the colour or not.

Greetings, I am new to this, so bear with me and my naivety. I inherited my Aunt's 1950 TD. She drove it till the day she died at 86 and had owned it since 1951. It lived most of it's life in California and so is devoid of any rust. (not the case with dry rot however). It has never been restored, althought there are a few chrome pieces ...
