I have recently purchased 1964 MGB.  The car runs fine, but the flashers either need adjustment and I'm not sure how to do this.  The flashers come on but they blink very rapidly and I would like to slow them down.  Also I'm thinking of putting the fog lamps that you can buy from Moss.  Has anyone wired them?  I ...

  • 69 MGB doesn't stay running

I had my 69 MGB tuned up, new plugs, wires, oil and filter, condenser, points, rotor and distributor cap.  I picked it up from the shop and it ran great.  I drove it for about 1.5 hours at 45mph with no problems.  All of a sudden it began to run rough, back fire etc..  It went downhill quickly and after a few minutes of that it ...

  • '64 MGB question

I just recently acquired an MGB from 1964.  Problem: the car has no side mirrors, there is nothing on the doors or the fenders that would indicate that the mirrors were originally on the car.  So the question: did all MGB '64 have side mirrors or was it an additional feature?  Overall the car is in good condition, nice body ...

  • Oil Cooler Connection Leaks.

I have a 72 BGT with most things in pretty standard configuaration.  I'm having a problem with a leak at the union where the hose from the cooler screws into the base of the oil filter.  I have tightened it as much as possible and it leaks.  I have tried putting an o ring in to seal it (hard to explain) slipped over the cone in ...

  • Hub Replacement

I am preparing to replace the hubs and wheels on my 1970 B due to worn splines.  I have picked up some brake parts and will be refreshing them and will repack the bearings while I am there.  Are there any other things I should look for or gotcha's I should prepare for?   Mike

  • What am I missing?

I have a '76 M.G.B. It has been stored in my garage for about 15 years. I have replaced the "big-end" bearings on it and it and I had the engine running fairly good. However, the problem is that,  It has a Webber carb, which drives me crazy trying to adjust. , BUT. the biggest problem I have is that I cannot get it registered, ...
