Ok, I'm a newbie, so forgive me if I have some basic questions.
I have found what appears to be a repairable 1967 Mark III.. Body looks ok. Plenty of surface rust, everything is there, Silver dollar size rust hole in bottom of the passenger door panel. Mice got to the carpets, etc... So interior is all there but will needs ...

I have set the slow run screw 2.25 turns open from the stop. How many turns for the idle / richness jet adjusting screw (only jet adjustment on a BJ8). I need to get it to start and warm-up so I can begin the sync and adjustment phase. Any tips on the carb adjusting process. Thanks.

Does anyone have the measurements for the spacing of the bows on a 1965 BJ8. I have been given the honour of replacing a top with no straps on it and I do not have the originals to measure from.

Very quick question.... Is a 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 hardtop the same as a 3000 mk1 bt7?

I've decided to go ahead with a semi-full restoration of my BJ8 and the engine rebuild is underway. My mechanic would like to acid dip the block to get all the grime and paint off of it- is there a problem with doing that?

Is anyone aware of a mesh windscreen available for a BJ8. Moss has one but it is for MG"S
