  • Damper pulley install

    I recently discover that the damper pulley and washer could not be engaged with the shaft pin , as the pin was not out far enough to engage the washer after the pulley was installed.  Have I done something wrong?  The shaft has received the pulley all the way.  My solution was to bend the washer slightly to block the bolt ...

  • MGB Windshield Washer Tube

    Frustration!  Started off with no washer fluid when you pulled the lever.  Simple solution: A bad washer pump.  Now, the fluid suirts out of the cowl vent...nothing out the spray nozzle to the windshield.  Suggestions on how to extract the washer hose?  I am afraid that it is an "up and around the interior dash"

  • Newbe: Gearbox mesh going into 4th

    Just bought '74 MGB-GT 24K miles. Shifts well, but when going into 4th, the gears don't seem to mesh correctly.  Can a syncro' fail on just 1 gear?  Other thoughts...

    My 74 used to be very hot. I put the insulation with the aluminum backing down everywhere I could with the deluxe Moss carpet kit and it is not a problem any more. The quiet ride makes me feel like I'm in a much more expensive car. Not that my car was cheap to restore. It made such a difference.

  • help with brake master disassembly

    I did get the 1st circlip off but the bushing will not come out!!  any tricks on how to dig this out so I can continue diassembly?  (1974 MGB) Thanks, SBJ

  • One start is all that I get

    I just purchased a 74' MGB and I am only able to start the car once.  The car will not idle - I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running.  If I let go of the gas and let it stall out I am unable to get it started again until the next day - I know this must be due to flooding the engine.  Any help would be great.  ...
