Thanks Oz, Am I right in thinking to use a remote servo I would have to convert to an older sigle line braking system and if so will that be as good as the duel system currently on the car? From what I have been hearing about the benifit I may decide to channel the cash in another direction.  Joe

Can anyone tell me what is needed and how easy it is to fit a servo to a 1987 Mini City. From photo's I have seen it looks like I need a new master cylinder as well as a bracket to convert the push rod from the brake pedal from vertical to horezontal. Part numbers would be good.   Joe

Does anyone know what a dim dip resistor is and what it does and is it needed. Joe

Has anyone out there used silicone brake fluid, Is it any good? I have seen it in the Moss catalogue and that is the first time I have heard of it. Joe

Thanks Oz, Im a bit behind sceduel with the Metro but the Mini is now painted, so the job is moving forward slowley I will let you know if I have any problems with the carb. regards Joe

Oz, I didn't get the MT6508 manifold, unfortunatly it isn't in stock, but when I get it will I need a large port manifold gasket? also when I fit the Metro engine is it worth fitting poly engine mountigs.  Joe
