Wyobrit- I'll bet if you put an early MGB head on your later model engine it will lower compression and increase combustion chamber volume which will, with a supercharger, increase power. Has anyone out there tried this? Is this the hot supercharger set-up? LCJUTILA 

MT- I wonder if the emergency brake is rusted in the on position. The shoes sound like they are hanging up on the groove they have worn on the inside of the drum. I have some suggestions for loosening it but I would only attempt them on my own car and wouldn't want to be responsible on someone else's. Especially since I can't see the problem in ...
