It will go rich at high altitude and will appreciate being leaned out. Tuning instructions are always the same, regardless. Turn more lean until it starts to shake. Hold the switch vertical. The center terminal is common (blue wire input). The other two terminals are interchangeable.

The piece between the piston and the boot is another retaining ring. It looks like a flat washer with a very narrow width. This piece is supposed to hold the boot secure on the pushrod so the boot will flex rather than sliding on the pushrod (wearing the rubber and leaking). See here: ...
