• Re: TR4 surrey top seals

That would be a Moss US part number 681-020, in stock. regards

  • Re: Moss Wiring Harness

Rich. Your question is confusing. The wiring colors should tell you the functions of the wires for the 1600. Your 1600 should have mounting plinths on the rear fenders that have two lamp units. One 2'' diameter flasher lamp and then the main lamp which has a dual filament bulb for stop and running light. Here are the wiring ...

  • Re: turn signal problem

The turnsignal and brake lamp circuits are completely independent, so it's not a turnsignal switch problem. I'm thinking that what may be happening is that there is a problem with the tail lamp grounding, which is causing the stop lamp to ground through the turn signal bulb. The tail lamp assembly is grounded through special mounting nuts ...

  • Re: Want B Head Performance Tips

LCJUTILA. If you don't have a copy of ''How to Power Tune MGB 4-Cylinder Engines'' by Peter Burgess, then you need to get a copy. It is currently the definitive work on building up the B Series motors and does give very good advice on home porting of a street engine. Most of the performance oriented components such as heavy duty springs ...

  • Re: front wheel bearings

Check the catalog a bit closer. The bearing kit is listed under line 58. You will also need to reshim the bearings when they are installed. If you know what size shims you need, you can order them seperately. Or we did just build a kit of the typical selection of shims you may need. It's not listed in the catalog yet, but the ...

  • Re: MGB Conversion to 5 speed

Hi John. Moss does sell just the installation kit seperately. The part number is 041-765. You get to save some money, but not a whole lot as the installation kit components are the main cost of the total conversion kit.

  • Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump: Spacer, or no Spacer,,

Hi. The two pumps are interchangable, if the spacer is used with the later pump. 377-400 will fit on all the engines without a spacer 377-410 will fit on all the engines with the 377-415 spacer. The difference between the pumps is the length of the arm. That spacer and longer arm pump were introduced in 1978 to reduce heat ...

  • Re: It hurts me to say this, but I need help with electrical problems....

Spike. Fear not. Moss isn't about to screw you. The tech department needs to check the relay unit before issuing a credit because it is nigh on impossible to determine if the relay unit failed, or it was damaged by other wiring problems without inspection. It's very important that we find out exactly what went wrong because a lot of time ...
