MM has goodies to rebuild these beauties... clean em, Holley has a nice electric fuel pmp. with regulator ~ 2 1/2 - 3 psi. firing order is 1, 3, 4, 2, maybe you need retard the timing a bit, check compression - valve's adjusted?
