Clutch Replacement

I was driving to work one afternoon and the clutch suddenly crapped out. I could tell the throw-out bearing had broken in two. I grinded it into gear and creeped back home. A couple weeks later, my brother and a friend helped me pull the engine and transmission. It took two weekends. They sit on a spill mat to the right.

Here we go! Jack handle in hand to pry the engine in. The lip of the oil pan flange has difficulty getting passed the front engine mounts. You have to rock it in.

Drilling out the exhaust flange the next morning. We actually broke off the tip of an extractor (hardened steel) during the process which made the task that much more difficult. Shortly after this picture, the bolt fell apart in the hole and we put a new one in.
