Paint Booth- Finished

I rented a paint booth to apply the base-coat clear-coat finish for the final top coat. Next is color sanding & buffing the finish for that show look![:)]

My wife Julie giving me a hand painting. She says I owe her at least a dozen "nails jobs". What a wife! You can see the new battery box installation turned out very nice.

After driving and racing the TR3A, I thought it was time for some upkeep and restoration was needed in order to preserve the quality of my TR.

These photos show before and after the installation of the battery box, and body & metal work that was needed. As you can see, doing one job always entails another, and before you know it you are at a full restoration. This project will be done in late spring of '08.

'71 TR6 All British Car Show

1971 TR6 frame off retsoration. Took me 5 years to complete the restoration. All the of work was done by owner, with the exception of machine work and leather seats.

The car has been uprated to performance parts, but for the most part is stock in appearance with the exception HVD 5 speed transmission.

Restored 1959 TR3A running in the F class. Old English white exterior with balck with white piping inertior. Now with chrome wire wheels and 650x15 bias ply tires. Came with original white steel hardtop and overdrive. Commision# TS35658 LO
