I contacted Bob as MGADavid suggested. Bob recommended a silicone caulk that could be found at an Auto parts store. However, by the time that I got an answer, I had gotten impatient and put in some solvent based sealer which is normally used in cars to seal the floorboards. It seemed to work and appear like the original material. I experimented with "putty tape" (used to seal window and door frames on RVs), but that was NOT good. It never hardens!
Bob from Abingdon text:
"You should go to a NAPA store or other car auto parts and purchase some silicone
gasket maker. Put in a bead and when it dries trim off the excess.
If we can be of any other assistance please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Bobbie"
