doing an engine overhul & looking for a upgrade to the 1500 camshaft for my 77 midget 1500
looked at Kent offerings and APT offerings that put me in the 270deg range and based on other documentation I should stay in the 265deg range with even phasing and a closer to .4 lift. original was 357 deg even phasing
anybody have any suggestions ?
current cam is kind of beat and machine shop didn't recommend a regrind
using stock intake valve size and a "street port"
classic motorsports had a decent article on a MGB project with some data but haven't seen much on the 1500 even on the triumph sites
