    MGB Conversion to 5 speed

My 67 MGB has the engine coming out  shortly ( for several reasons) and while I'm at it I have been investigating the ford type 9 gearbox. I know Moss sells the entire kit but I have located a Merkur gearbox and would like to install it. Extraneous parts will be required ie crossmember, bellhousing etc.

My question is: can anybody steer me to a supplier of these items and some detailed instructions? If Moss is reading, do you sell just these parts?
    Thanks

    Hi John.

Moss does sell just the installation kit seperately.  The part number is 041-765. You get to save some money, but not a whole lot as the installation kit components are the main cost of the total conversion kit.
