    front wheel bearings

I believe the bearings may be shot on one (or both) sides of the front hubs.  I hear a ticking, picking sound at times during slow turns at slow speeds.  In looking through the Moss catalog, I see bearing parts, etc.  Do they sell a bearing "kit"?  If not which are the standard parts needed to rebuild?  Grease type suggestion?  It's a 77 B

Check the catalog a bit closer. The bearing kit is listed under line 58.

You will also need to reshim the bearings when they are installed. If you know what size shims you need, you can order them seperately. Or we did just build a kit of the typical selection of shims you may need. It's not listed in the catalog yet, but the part number is 263-508.

    mtnance,

You may be hearing bearings, it's true. But, you may only be hearing the brake pads being "knocked back" a tad as the rotor deflects slightly going around corners at low speed. Next time you hear the noise, try just barely applying some brake to see what happens.

I'll try that in the next day or so.

Thanks for the part numbers, just in case.....
