    Brake warning light valve

I have found it necessary to replace the master cylinder on my '71 Midget due to it leaking.  During the install I decide to inspect the rest of the system and found that a PO has removed the brake failure warning switch and plugged the hole with a bolt.  This is not a big issue as they can be purchased at our wonderful host's store.  The problem is that when I got the car there was a bag of small parts that I could not identify, but after seeing the valve it occurred to me that one of the parts was the innards of said valve.  I pulled the valve apart and sure enough, the little piston is gone.  Unfortunately, so is the little bag of parts.  Does anyone know where I can get one of those valves, or at least the piston?  I really don't want to run a dual system in single mode.  Especially on a car this old.  Any help or leads are greatly appreciated.

Although they are made of brass these valves seem to be made of gold if you have to buy a new one. Check with other LBC owners, the valve was used on a lot of Midgets over the years and many guys have spares that you might buy for much less than the cost of a new one. I'd try posting a "wanted" message on all the MG and LBC forums such as this one as well as these, http://www.britishcarforum.com/bcforum/ubbthreads.php  http://www.mgexperience.net/phorum/  You might also check with Tony Barnhill http://www.theautoist.com/   He's a Moss dealer and also has a pretty good stock of used parts as well.
