I'm new to the forum.  Recently acquired my sprite (had a 62 in 1962 but too dumb then to keep it).  Question, do Sprites have an anker to tie down the spare tire?  Where would I find one?

Look in the boot ( trunk ). There should be a threaded hole in the floor near the center. A threaded tire hold down clamp screws into this hole. The threaded clamp that holds the tire to the floor is no longer available in the Moss catalogue. You might want to check to see if  Victoria British or someone on eBay has one of these hold downs.
