This is my first post to this forum. Two weeks ago the fire in Santa Barbara consumed my 1969 TR-6 that I bought in 1972. Fortunately our house and garage were saved. God bless the fire fighters. This was a very long term project car and not running or insured, but had just been pushed outside to work on another project.
I still have some parts available that were in the garage and in very good to perfect shape:
4 Panasport wheels, never mounted, in original boxes. 6J x 15
One wool carpet set, tan, with underlayment, never installed, in original box.
2 Front fenders, original, stripped and repainted BRG.
2 Doors, original, also stripped and repainted BRG.
Original AM radio
many other small parts
The rest of the body is a total loss, but the engine block and cylinder head could be salvaged. The non-overdrive trans could be rebuilt, but I see the rear mounts have melted off, so there was a lot of heat there. The block was freshed with new rings about 10 years ago but only has a few hours on it. The cylinder head was brand new with new valves. Carbs may be ok, all plastic is gone but the aluminum looks ok. Maybe the frame could be salvaged, but it saw a lot of heat. Most of the aluminum parts have melted off, including the trailing arms.
As I am new to this, I haven't figured out how to post a picture yet.
I am willing to part with all this for any reasonable offer. I do not want to part out the body/eng/trans... it is all or nothing. The parts in the gargage can go individually if anyone has a need for that stuff. I will post here for two weeks and then it goes to E-Bay.
