    Clutch issues

    Hi,

I have a 72 Austin Mini.  The slave cylinder threw a hissy fit, so I fixed it.  I think I need to replace the hose that goes directly to the slave cylinder.  But while I had the slave cylinder out, I put the car in gear, then tugged on the car from up front and I could tell that the clutch was not engaged.  Then I moved the pin that moves the whole thing it's connected to, and while the car is still in gear, it will start to turn motor.  This is a pretty new transmission, and I know that the clutch is okay because I looked at it while it was out.  So my question is, is it possible to engage the clutch by hand or was I just wasting my time?  Thanks in advance,

    Daniel

    Hey Oz,

Let's not be insensitive, here. Maybe he IS The Hulk! Wouldn't you LOVE to see The Hulk driving a Mini? (An open sunroof would be a must!)

    Have a great weekend,
