    HIF 44

    I am rebuilding a 1987  Mini and intend to fit a 1275 engine from a 1989 Metro. (I believe the carb is a HIF44)

Can you tell me if there are suitable inlet and LCB exhaust manifolds available for the HIF carb that will give clearance between the carb and the box section below the bulkhead.

We have tried to fit the HIF carb using two different ally inlet manifolds to another Mini without success.

    regards.

    Hiya mate,

MT3603 is the inlet and MT6507 for the LCB you might need to remove the black spacer on the card to get a little more clearence! this also means the bracket that holds the cables in place will need grinding back a little so it clears the inlet!

Let me know if you get stuck Wink
