I'm working on redoing the entire interior of my 1957 BN4 that we've had for 49 years. So it really needed some work. I've sourced everything from Moss, carpets, door pannels, seat kits-front and rear, and am pleased with just about everything that's been done so far. The carpets are in and look great. The seats are half finished and, so far, are also looking good. I'm a little disapointed that the driver's and passenger's replacement seat back covers are three piece and not one piece as original but I'm coping and sure it will look OK when done. However I'm stumped by the door seals. I have the metal pieces and rubber inserts that form the weather seals on each door sill but do not recall the orientation of the metal on the sill. I think the rubber "cup" would go in kind of face down but also am not sure about that. Is the rubber glued into the metal channel? Where are the screws placed; are they thru the larger part of the metal channel or smaller? Also I need some help with the furflex. I cannot recall where that goes. Does anyone have some pics they could share that would help? Since I'm in northern New Hampshire and we've already had a dusting of snow, most of the work right on the car will only be done on those unusually warm days but I do plan to continue the reupholstery work over the (long) winter.
Thanks, DaveW
