    Frame/Bow for a 1964 Sprite Mark II

    Hi,

I recently bought a 1964 Sprite Mark II.  The car has no frame/bow nor soft top.  I've been able to locate a new top for the car, but I'm having the worst time finding the frame for the top.  Does anyone out there know where I can get my hands on one?

    Desperate in California,

    Christine

Christine, on another forum I've seen mention of a British Car salvage located in Arizona. I don't remember the name of the yard, but they come highly recommended and might have the frame you need. I'll try to remember where I saw the post, might have been on the MG Experience board, but I'm not sure. Perhaps someone else can remember. Hope this helps.

I never thought of looking at the Moss catalog. The show the top frame for the MKII Sprite as part number 400-648 for $356.95  Not cheap, but if you need one and can't find one anywhere else it's an option. You might also check with Tony Barnhill "The Autoist" as he might have what you need. http://www.theautoist.com/

    Christingztrackere:

If you haven't already found one I have an extra.  I'm just completing a 65 midget and I had purchased and extra set of bows.  It appears that I will not need them.  You can email me at gztracker@suddenlink.net
