    1969 Sprite Steering Wheel

    I have a 1969 Sprite. Someone tried to steal the steering wheel and broke the spokes. How can I repair it? or does anyone have one they would like to part with? Willing to pay top $ for a nice wheel. I am trying to restore and get back out on the road. $5.00 a gallon gas really makes it worth the time does it not.

    Bob, our esteemed hosts have the wheel listed in the catalog http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=29293  for only $159.  I doubt if you'll find a good quality original for much less. I would be very cautious about repairing the wheel unless you are or have a qualified welder to do the work. Remember this is your connection to the road, if it breaks you can't steer.
