    Gearbox rebuild manual out there?

Does anyone know of a manual out there specifically for repair and rebuild of a '67 Sprite (1275) Gearbox?  I've seen the Haynes manual which cites engine specific procedures, but no mention of similar topics for the gearbox.

    thanks,

    Lou

    Lou,

You need the Factory Manual reprint, I thiink. I'm home right now, and not thinking about cars, for a change, oh yeah... I'll br tuning in some racing in about twenty minutes. Once a motorhead always a motorhead....

I'll look at the manual tomorrow when I get to the shop and see how well it's covered. If I don't get back to you right away, rattle my wrenches.

thanks Bill -- i saw one on e-bay under "Best Brit Books" -- title says, "Practical Classics & Car Restorer on Midget/Sprite Restoration".  Apparently, this book says it covers both engine rebuild AND gearbox rebuild..... have you ever heard of it?

     ciao!

    Sorry Lou,

No, I haven't ever seen that particular book. It sounds like you probably wouldn't go wrong, though. I've always stuck with factory manuals. I guess I learned "Factorese" early on.
