    performance cam and pushrods

i want to put the performance street cam moss # 851-051 in my tr3. the question is i only see one size pushrod and im afraid the geometry will be off and cause excess wear on the valves and guides.what is the normal procedue here .on american cars when you put in a performance cam you change these.has anybody used this cam and what should i know.thanks

    Re: performance cam and pushrods

Most decent tuning manuals will show how to set up rockers for a performance cam. If you can get it (out of print but there are pdfs around - I have one) David Vizards Tuning Standard Triumphs is excellent.

It is a matter of getting an equal angle above and below horizontal on the rocker. You can do that by shimming the rocker pedestal - or presumably cutting it back. Not something I would do in a hurry.
