Hi, i have a near perfect 1983 Mini Mayfair and i was wondering if the spare wheel was clamped onto anything. Also I have recently had a problem with the bootlid, the wires that hold it when it is open 1 of them has snapped! Joy! Does anyone know if i can buy replacements wires thanks a lot!

Whilst everyone haggles over cable pricing I thought I'd say that the spare doesn't clamps to anything, but a well sited piece of 12mm all thread suitably bolted down will do the job. Hope this is a help
