Just bought a 1965 Sprite with the 1098. It has what appears to be Kent Vernier Timing Gears with the double row chain. The camshaft end reads VP3, which I've been told is a mild street cam. There was a definite looseness in the timing chain, apparently caused by a worn timing gear key. I'm ordering another, but need to know the valve setting dimensions. Anybody have a clue? I definitely don't!
