A 1980 MGB Limited Edition is My current British sport car in the process of restoration, I use to take it to the Britfest show at the New Jersey Moss Motors Warehouse but she has been in the garage since my move to Florida, My 4 and 5 year old sons like to go "Around the Block" in it to keep it in working order, I had a very early 1974 Rubber Bumper MGB I don't remember the MFR date but it must have been just after the switch from chrome bumpers.
I just sold a 1970 MGB GT MFR date12/69 so it was most likely a 70 Model. I got a really rare pair of SEV Marchal Amplilux headlamps off it and put them on My 80 B. I saw a NOS pair sell for $400 on eBay! They have separate reflectors for the low and high beam so I put 55w low and 100w High!
My father had a place called Sports cars Unlimited in Bedford New York in the 50s 60s so we have always had sports cars in our blood.
