Good morning Barney. I haven't had the honor of communicating with you for a year or more.
Thank you for noting that I duplicated one of the parts in my list of pipes in this kit. As you say, the kit should have eight pipes. In my overzealousness I made a mistake. I counted one twice. (It's a good thing I don't place dynamite sticks for a living.)

Your guess is as good as mine. My post had my name in it so Sannyasi could reach me again if needed.
He hasn’t contacted me. He hasn’t posted again.
When you wrote your post I decided to contact Sannyasi myself to make sure all is well with him. I looked in the Moss database for someone named Sannyasi. There is none.
Sannyasi’s post is dated sometime after late August. I went through our sales records of everyone who has bought these pipes since then.
I was looking for someone with the name Sannyasi or something similar. There is none.
While looking at the sales history I looked at the returns history of the hose Sannyasi asked about and the pipe kit. Zero returns for either one.
You said you can only assume it still leaks. I can see your point. Perhaps, from what you do, that would be the correct assumption. Here in the Technical Support Department at Moss it doesn’t work that way. When we suggest a part, or a method to solve a problem, and it works, we usually don’t hear about back from the customer. (The way people don’t voluntarily go back to the doctor after their illness has been cured.) Experience has taught us that if the customer does not contact us again his problem is fixed.
Is that always right? Of course not, but it usually is the correct assumption. If in this case, Sannyasi bought the brake lines and installed them, and the leak persists, I’d love to hear from him. If I don’t hear from him, I have to assume he didn’t buy the brake line kit he was asking about, or he did buy it and the problem went away, or he took it to a professional (like you) and was taken care of.
