After much struggle with not much luck on the pins, I decided to put everything back together. Since I do not have suitable press at the moment. I've also gotten a suggestion to get a pan of oil and let the wishbone sit in it overnight.
I did notice that when I had the shock free from the 4 bolts holding it down, I could move it up and down by hand. After two of these up and down rotations, the shock stiffened and made it difficult, but possible. Maybe, just maybe the shock needs new oil or its low and doesn't need to be replaced. I have no idea if original or not. I've never opened one of these. What can I check?
