Just got my Sprite running after ~5+years. It didn't have a Dash so I made my own out of Oak and rewired with a new Moss harness and regauged it w/an aftermarket gauge kit and did up the dash in a "Mark One-esque" style/approach that came out pretty slick (pure accident). It's got an alternater conversion and I also threw in a Flame Thrower Distributer and used a new looking Lucas Sport Coil that DPO had left in trunk. Amazingly/Happily it's running! (leaking oil like the exxon valdez, but thats 'nuther issue)...
Question: My ignition warning light comes on and stays on/lit about 3-4 times out of 5 upon turning the ignition OFF (?!). Bumping the starter switch (wired independently of the igniton circut) makes it go out tho'... It otherwise appears to function normally as it illuminates upon turning the ignition on and goes out after the car's run a min or so.
Any thoughts? TIA!
