    The 725-130 was used on the early cars (pre November 1954) on the spiral bevel axles. In November of 1954 they switched to a hypoid axle. The tube acted as a spacer.

    Our catalog and web page often use graphics that cover more than one family or incarnation of the car. So while this part was not used later cars it appears in the graphic.
