Just when I thought the switch was bad,....I saw a flicker of brake lights when messing with it attached but not installed in the pedal box. I took the switch apart since it's a plunger style switch and not a ball (point) style. Snapped apart and snapped back together. Works like a charm once I rotated the contact disk. In fact, did the same to the old switch I kept/replaced three years ago and now I have two working switches.
