the power unit? Are you refering to the overdrive?
A frind suggesed that to him it sounds like something is binding...since I can shift the gears with the car up on jacks but not when the car is sitting on the ground with the wieght of the car on it. He suggested to take the drive shaft off and see it I could change gears that way with the engine running and the car on all 4 tires. Could this be a possibility or would this be a waste of my time.
Your suggestion to drop the car in gear is noted...should I use 1st gear or a higher gear when I do this? Does the car need to drop fast for this to work?
