I have a 75 Spitfire with what looks to be a spacer about 3/8th of an inch thick on top of the left front spring. I can't find any reference to it anywhere. Is it just to correct ride height , or is it OE. Also the lower A arms have about 1/2in of spacers on the same side. I need to get rid of most of them so that the nuts catch more then 3 threads. There is no sign of frame damage. Any help would be appreciated.
