I have a general question about putting a radio into my 77 MGB. Now, let me preface this by saying that I, along with my dad, owned a 78 MGB when I was in high school (too many years ago to count) and I'm pretty comfortable working on my B but not with the radio since we didn't have to replace our radio in our B back in the day.
Now, to my question: There was a radio in the car but let's just say it's no longer in the car. Anyway, the wiring for that radio was a complete mess to the point where I can't figure out how it was even playing. (The person who installed the old radio used a LOT of duct tape to splice the wires together...yeah I wasn't joking when I said a complete mess...)
So my question is this, does anyone have any suggestions and/or advice for how I can go about wiring the car for a new radio? I've called a couple of shops locally to see if they could install a radio for me but because of the car's an MGB and I live in a town where NOBODY knows what to do with an MG, no luck there so I'm gonna have to install the radio myself.
Thank you in advance!!
