I cant't get my 1978 mgb to start with the key. I can get it to start if I put my (+) lead on the starter and then jumb from the small white / brown wire to where the battery lead is with the key in the run position. I thought this proved that the starter relay was bad. I replaced the relay and all I get is the clicking noise from the starter. The battery is good. Do I have an ignition switch problem? thanks to whoever answers.
