    Re: Mini project update

    Oz,

For some reason I didn't see the original post of the finished project. I think, for what it's worth, that you've turned out a terrific machine. I bet it's an absolute blast to drive, as well. You should be proud of your work. Good on ya!

How about giving us some numbers and specs all in one page now that she's finished. Have you had 'er on a rolling road? (I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. Those things are a tad rough on the drivetrain)

Does the nose come off "Of a piece" or is it a standard group of bits all bolted on? The pictures with it off suggested the former.

    Regards,

    Bill

    Re: Mini project update

    OZ,

The flip-up nozzle is very nice, indeed. From the sheer volume of stuff you've stuffed in there, I wonder if it could even have been done any other way! Do I correctly assume the nose is glass? I can't imagine the cost if it's "carpet fibre". And, yes, I'd like to see some performance specs when you feel all is bedded in and you are comfortable with lettin' 'er eat. naught to sixty should be fun, as well as developed Gs. Don't let me pressure ya now.........

    Wow,

I wouldn't park this gem in a garage. I'd rent a safety deposit box at the local bank. What the heck, it'd fit...
