Hey again, curlyboy. I like the wheels. They are Panasports. I don't know if I'd have sprung the money for them, but the PO did. What Ireally appreciate about them is when I have to remount them on the car. They really are lighter.
The 74, with the AC Cobra bumpers has lever shocks and GP rear springs, Dunlop Signature 205/70/15 and holds the road, just wonderfully especially the twisty country roads
The 73 has Spax tubular GP springs on the rear, Koni on the front with aluminum steering rack mountsm Michelin 205/70/15 and a whole host of engine mods.
I find the ride a bit stiff, but it's great on the highway.
You seem to know your way around so I guess you've checked the differential mount on the front left. I had a repair to make on the 74, but the PO took care of that on the 73 before I got it.
Here's a shot of the 73's engine. And, BTW, if you find things getting a little slow here, come check out www.6-pack.org ; we're definitly the majority over there. Also here's a nifty site for tire size comparisons http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/?page=tyre.htm
