Bill,
I had a similar problem with the Austin Healey 100-6.
I was 16 years old 5'3" tall and could not reach the pedals in my Father's 100-6. Since I was majoring in Metal Shop class and had access to cutting torches and milling machines I made (2) 2 " pedal extensions for the brake and clutch. I made sure there were 2 holes in the pedal arm to mount the pedal extensions to the car and 2 holes in the pedal themselves. The process was not complicate basically 2 pieces of 1/4 thick steel 1 and 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches long.
This solved the problem. I am now much older a little taller and have no problems reaching the pedals in my own Healey
