I've gotta replace a head gasket this weekend. Anyone know the torque specs for a '76 mini, 998cc? Guess what I'm needing is the head and intake specs. I'm not much of a mechanic, but it seems pretty straight forward other than that.

More on torque specs: anybody knows the torque on wheel stud for 1970's Mini Coopers?

Hiya,

Torque setting are

Head nuts 50 lbt ft or 68 Nm

Manifold nuts 14lbt ft or 19Nm

once the car has done 200miles or so re-torque to the same lbt

wheel nuts are 45 lbt ft :)
