    Has anyone tried to replace the mirror glass on MGB mirrors? (1973).   I have seen them offered on some auto parts websites.  Do they actually fit?  How hard is it to replace them ?

    I personally haven't replaced one, but several friends in our local club have had mirrors replace at the local glass shops around town. Just take in the old mirror head and they can remove the old glass and cut a new one to fit. Not expensive and you're sure to get a perfect fit in your housing.

    I haven't tried to replace the glass. The price for a new mirror purchased from Moss was reasonable, and so I went that route. Then when I received the mirror and found that it was manufactured in England, I was quite satisfied.
