sproctor,
You'll have to enlighten me. What the heck IS a mesh windscreen. I went through the Moss MGB catalog thoroughly and could find no such animal.
Motorbill, if you had eaten that egg and sardine on rye this morning, you'd be sharp enough to figure out that sproctor wants one of those outfits that fit behind the seats.
By the way, it's never too late to follow up on your real calling. ken
poolboy,
To exactly what kind of outfit are you referring? Are you wearing one now? Maybe we should reserve a spot for you as well.
Now that would be fun. What's for lunch?
You've seen those things. They are usually clear plastic and mount behind the seat in some fashon. They are supposed to keep some of the wind from entering the cockpit from the rear. I think Moss started selling a mesh one recently. ken
Oh,
But how is mesh going to stop wind? It brings to mind the old saw," That's about as useful as a screen door on a submarine."
The Oris Windstop is mesh and sorta works. At least the Miata folks love them. I believe that the MGB unit was in one of the last email broadcasts from Moss. If you go to the main screen and click on New Products at the top and then on MGB/C you will find it. Or you can go to http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=59650
