I own a '52 TD which is about 3/4 of the way through a frame off restoration & an unrestored '69 Midget which spent most of its 62,000 miles following very closely behind a motorhome.

1949 TC. It's the perfect compliment to my YB Saloon!  I'd love a pre-war, but I wouldn't give up the TC to get one.

We purchased a 1951 TD (#6961) in 1999.  Originally black with red interior, it's now dark red with tan leather interior (Moss products).  Currently installing the 5-speed Ford Sierra transmission conversion, along with the Al Moss crankshaft seal kit.

Wish I had purchased a late model MGA recently for sale at The Motorway in Fort Collins, CO.  A beautiful concourse restoration, black exterior with dark red leather interior, and dark red piping along the fender seams instead of the correct black stuff.  Gorgeous car!  Bought a new MINI instead ...

'50 TD   '68 triumph GT6(19,000 mi. basket case.)   2  '77 MGB's one in the basket ,one getting a frame up right now. The second was the second worst looking MG at the last Flags Up Farm  car show held. The worst one had hit a deer among other things!

'54TF.  Dad sold it in '63 when he was in the Army to his best friend.  2 years ago that friend called me to say if I want it, he was ready to part with it (dad has long since passed).  For 25 years it has sat under a blanket in a barn, this past summer, after putting every dollar I could find into it (gota' love EBay), it purred again!!

Yes there is plenty it needs, but at least it made inspection!

I'm hoping for a TC someday.

Re: MG TA, TB, TC, TD or TF?

Hello, new on this forum, first post.

    I own a '55 TF 1500 black w/ red int.

My dad bought it in 1963  from the original owner.

In 1968 on my 16th birthday, it became my first car, and pride and joy.

The car has 122,000 original miles, and is virtually all original. It is in excellent condition, being garaged and in So. Cal. since new.

It runs great, I drive it many weekends per year, and have done most of the maintanence and repairs myself.

     Chris
