hey all my first post ..i recently sold my 1954 chevy hot rod. and downsized i bought a nice 78 midget it runs well looks clean shifts awsome the top has a few pinholeleaks but for the year it was a bargin

the whole front end is new .tie rods springs axle spindles sway bar another reason i bought her..i changed the oil and replaced the rear axle oil should i also check the rear shocks and gearbox/tranmission oil as well?

its a blast to drive and any pointers would help....also is there any forums for winter storage?

    YES! Get her happy!

Contrary to popular opinion, these cars are very reliable, but you can't be lazy!

If I were you, I'd change the gearbox oil right now. It may be ok, but once you change it, you'll KNOW it's good to go. As for the shocks, how does it handle? Does it hold a quick turn? If so, then I wouldn't break the seal.

    Re: 78 midget

Lubricate that front suspension like it's your religion. That's the only way it will last and continue to give you that crisp handling.
