i have a tr 250, its in need of body work

I am wondering if the 64TRA body tub and frame are exactly the same???

I could get a tub and frame that the work is already performed.

No. The TR250 has differences in the engine compartment to accommodate the 6 cyl. RF inner fender is different. How bad is the 250?? Is your frame IRS?The frame front cross tube is different as are the steering rack position and engine mounts. I believe the rear diff mounts are changed as well. If you have both cars and frames side by side you could probably make the changes required to the TR4A chassis. or use a TR6 chassis. Cheers, Dave

well to be honest i do'nt really know its been sitting under a trap in the yard

I been trying to sell some motorcycle stuff in order to have money to restore the 250

I guess i will have to remove the body and see how bad it is i know the body needs tlc for sure
