Need XK140 thermostat

    Need XK140 thermostat

    I am trying to finish a XK140 FHC restoration. Got the motor running yesterday only to lose all its water on the floor after about 5 minutes. It has a new radiator but the wrong cap. The thermostat is wrong too in that it cannot restrict the bypass when it opens. Anyone have any ideas on where to locate a proper thermostat? Or do I just have to build some sort of full time restricter for the bypass?

    XKs Unlimited lists one. It is part # 09-0160. They are located in San Louis Obispo, California. Google 'em up and see if they have one in stock.
