Hm. 1980 TR7 30th anniversary edition was the first. Rusted out, though I have the title and just enough parts to claim it's a car.
Next Wedge was a '80 Spider that I saved and stuffed in the garage. Most of it was primer red; I plan to put a LS1 V8 with 6 speed in it, but not making much progress so far.
A couple years ago I got another 1980 (no special edition); developed a huge oil leak at the machanical fuel pump which I fixed, and within weeks aftwerwards died with a nasty death rattle. I haven't had the heart to tear into it yet to determine what's wrong with it.
I also have a fuel injected '81 which I saved from rusting away under a tree. DPO mucked up the title, then dropped a log on the drivers window. Door damage, top damage, etc. Took parts from the first TR7 so it's fairly weathertight and just have it parked for now... It's for sale though. Good tub with minor rust in places; and all the EFI bits. I got it to turn over and run very briefly about a year ago.
