    Greensboro, NC?

Well, I was down in Greensboro for my second round of interviews on Friday and if all goes well I thin kI'll be moving there this next month.   I was just wondering if we have any members in the area.

I'm in Winston-Salem (about 20 miles away).  Lot's of Brit car activity around here.  Welcome to the area.

Well hope the interview went great and you get the job. Where was the interview? I live in Liberty, NC about 20 miles from center of town. Anyway there are lots of MGB's within a 25 to 50Cool mile radus of Greensboro. I have a 66 and 80 in my stable. Are you a member of the MGB Experience http://www.mgexperience.net/ ? If not you should join as that is where most of us post and read. Then you will be able to see who is around the local area. Have a great day.

    Re: Greensboro, NC?

I lived in Greensboro for about 12 years, working for Volvo Trucks... lovely little city, and a GREAT place to own a British sports car! (Lots of nice well-maintained rolling country roads in all directions...you can take off on an afternoon and go to the beach or go to the mountains. Lots of racing. Lots of autocrossing.)

I'd recommend looking up the Healey club, because they throw an awesome TSD rally and a big show ("British Car Day South") every June in Clemmons (one exit west of Winston Salem - at least they did when I lived there.) Their regular meetings were in Kernersville, which is just west of Greensboro. A lot of the same people were active in a club called Corsa Rosa - which I guess is nominally a Ferrari club, but they always made me feel welcome.

So who's hiring in Greensboro. Maybe I should freshen up my resume?
